Art Exhibition

22nd March 2016

Tuesday night 22 March, the Barrow Hills finalists attended the King Edwards School (KES) Art Competition Exhibition. Entrants were congratulated on the high standard of their work, individual bravery and willingness to show such fantastic artwork at a public exhibition. A well deserved round of congratulations, the work looks fantastic amongst the 90 finalist entries.

A big thank you for all the hard work and commitment shown by each student entering artwork into the competition. All the entries to the competition are on display outside the staffroom and in the second floor stairwell going up to the year 6 classrooms. All beautifully drawn, collaged and painted fabulous artworks!

The high standard of finalists artworks from 12 schools are on display in the Dance Hall exhibition space at Kind Edwards until the 30th of March. King Edwards IB final artworks are on display at in the gallery space, a good opportunity to see excellent secondary school art in a variety of media.

Both exhibitions well worth a visit!  Lots of inspiration for the upcoming house art competition.
