Andrew was a Headteacher for 18 years and created Girls on Board in 2017. The approach is used in schools to empower girls to navigate the choppy waters of friendship turbulence for themselves. Teachers support, but don’t intervene, unless bullying is happening. The approach has been recognised by the National Education Union and has been featured on BBC5 Live and in the Times Educational Supplement. Girls on Board is used by around 800 schools world wide and is suitable for girls aged seven to 18.
