Newsletter 10 January 2020

WEEKLY NEWSLETTER FOR THE PERIOD 6th January – 10th January 2020

From the Headmaster Head

Dear Parents

Welcome back! There is so much to be packed into the shortest term of the school year: we have already had the first hockey matches for the girls and rehearsals for drama productions and music concerts will soon get under way.

Following on from my letter yesterday, our new website has gone live (as has the new King Edward’s site), so please do take some time to acquaint yourselves with it. Once all the snags have been seen to, I hope that you will find it a user friendly resource.

One event that I would like to draw your attention to is the first of our wellbeing talks, which is taking place next Thursday evening (16th January). Please do get in touch if you would be interested in attending as numbers will determine our venue.

Best wishes to you all for a happy and prosperous 2020 – there are only 350 sleeps until Christmas!

Kind regards

If you shop online, please sign up to easyfundraising to support Barrow Hills School. Easyfundraising turns your everyday online shopping into free donations for your favourite cause.

It’s a really easy way to raise money for us – you just use the easyfundraising site to shop online with more than 3,500 well known online stores like Amazon, Argos, John Lewis, ASOS, Booking.com, eBay, Boden, and M&S and when you make a purchase, the retailer sends us a free donation, at no extra cost to you, as a ‘thank you’. As well as shopping online, you can donate directly or create your own fundraising page to raise money.

Please visit our easyfundraising page here and click ‘support us’.

Never miss a free donation with the Donation Reminder (this only works on MACs and PCs). If you think you might forget to shop each time via easyfundraising then the Donation Reminder will help you. It provides a little reminder every time you shop online.
