Our athletes in Years 3-8 participated in the annual St Edmund’s cross-country competition with over 15 schools competing and each race consisting of over 60 children. The course utilised all the grounds at St Edmund’s including hills, forest, fields and skinny paths. Every child at Barrow Hills completed the course and with some exceptional results. Below are our top ten finishers:

U10 Girls: Sophie (5R) 1st, Honeysuckle (5R) 9th
U11 Boys: James (6G) 4th
U11 Girls: Esme (6R) 3rd, Hermione (6G) 8th
Overall for Barrow Hills the top performing teams was the U10 girls team scoring 27 points and the U11 boys team scoring 42 points.
Last weekend Esme (6R) competed in the U11 girls Sports Hall competition as part of the girls team for Waverley Athletics. Esme’s team came an impressive second out of the seven teams taking part. Noah (6G) also took part in the same competition and won a gold medal.
