This week, our Year 2 children continued on their fascinating journey to Ancient Egypt by creating their very own Egyptian cartouches out of clay. The children were enthusiastic as they rolled out their clay, carefully shaping it into the distinctive oval cartouche forms. With great focus and creativity, they inscribed their names using ancient hieroglyphs, bringing history to life in their hands.
We have left the cartouches to dry and are eagerly looking forward to painting them next week. Stay tuned for the unveiling of the finished creations in our next newsletter. We can’t wait to showcase the children’s hard work and artistic talents!
