Year 2 thoroughly enjoyed making their Christingles. They carefully wrapped the red tape around their oranges to represent Jesus’s love around the world. They pushed the candles into the top of the oranges to help remind them that Jesus is the light of the world. The four cocktail sticks with fruit and sweets on each one reminds us of the wonders of the four seasons. The children were delighted with their Christingles and I’m sure they are looking forward to eating the sweets!
