In Forest School this term, the children have been looking at British garden birds. They have made bird feeders by threading Cheerios, they have learnt about feathers, different types of nests and searched outside for messy nests. The children have drawn birds and researched facts about them, built their own nests and took part in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch.
The children have demonstrated genuine interest and concern for these beautiful creatures and were keen to observe and learn how to care for them at this time of year. Great work Pre-Prep.
During the really cold weather the children learnt how to make hanging ice ornaments using nature, water and the freezing temperatures!
