Reception have been continuing to learn about food in the run up to Harvest time. This week the children read ‘Oliver’s Fruit Salad’ and had a go at making their own fruit salad. They investigated the fruits using all their senses and looked at the globe to find the different countries where fruits are grown. The fruit plates were quickly emptied into tummies and the leftover skins and cores were emptied onto the compost heap
