Year 1 have had a joyful week.
They have created some beautiful poppies for our remembrance display. They all sat extremely quietly scrunching and sticking tissue paper onto the black flower shapes to transform them into poppies.
Continuing the artistic theme, the children used paint and straws to make amazing firework paintings. It was wonderful to see such sustained concentration and they were so delighted with the end results.
They also explored the Titanic toy box from The Godalming Museum which was incredibly exciting.
Well done to all of Year 1 for a fantastic first week back.
