This week, Year 2 children have been looking at adding and subtracting to 1000 in math. They have been using the dienes to practically add and take away and then using this to create their column addition or subtraction to represent what they have done. They have all been working really hard.
In grammar, the children have been learning about nouns being a person, place or thing and they went on a hunt outside to find the nouns and record them. They are all working very hard learning their lines for our Christmas production next week.
