Kindy children made a rainbow using Skittles as part of their ‘colours’ topic. They arranged the sweets on a plate and then poured on warm water. The sweets started dissolving and the colours blended to create a beautiful rainbow effect. They discussed how this is what happens when you suck a sweet, so everyone held one on their tongues and then checked to see if they had changed colour. Super yummy science in action!
