On Wednesday, our Kindy children were extremely excited to visit Tuesley Farm. It was a gorgeous day and fruit picking was a hot job in the sunshine! Sampling the delicious strawberries, raspberries and blueberries took their minds off the heat.
They loved their bumpy ride around the farm in a tractor and trailer, and after all the excitement, made their way to the shady woodland area for a picnic lunch followed by drawing what they had seen that morning. The children then enjoyed playing on the adventure playground before getting back on the minibus for the ride back to school.
When asked “are you tired?”, the reply was “picking fruit is hard work!”
