Max (6R) has been awarded the highest accolade within the Chiddingfold Pony Club – he was presented with the District Commissioner’s Cup.
This is awarded to the member (out of the 126 members aged 3-23) who has shown outstanding community spirit, overcome challenges, been an ambassador for the Club, and upheld the Pony Club code of conduct. This being:
- a member who stands for the best in sportsmanship as well as horsemanship;
- a member who shall compete for the enjoyment of the game well played and take winning or losing in their stride, remembering that without good manners and good temper, sport loses its cause for being;
- a member who endeavours to treat their horse with consideration… and who respects other riders, their instructors, and their parents.
Max was also awarded a cup for the most significant contribution to the disciplines of triathlon and tetrathlon within his age-group for 2021, and he also received a rosette for representing Chiddingfold in team events.
Marvellous, Max!
