Year 3 have been learning all about explorers in history. This week, 3G researched, wrote and shot an episode of ‘Newsround’ all about Captain Cook. We may have some future newsreaders, interviewers and historians in our midst!
Year 3 children have also been eagerly waiting to see some of the produce they planted at the end of last term. This week we were able to make some observations about the different types of beans that were planted and identify parts of the plants, complementing our ‘How Plants Grow’ topic for this half term.
We have also sent home the Year 3 ‘Great Sunflower Challenge’ that will see children plant, monitor and report on growth. We can’t wait to see the results.
