On Tuesday, Years 7 and 8 enjoyed an extremely informative session on nutrition led by Ellie, the nutritionist at Holroyd Howe. The children learnt about food groups and which foods were best to eat, not only to be physically healthy but to be alert and energised. They were given a variety of ingredients which included dried fruit and seeds as well as flavourings such as honey and vanilla to make an energy ball. They managed to make quite a mess but enjoyed their snack and learning about the ingredients.
