Year 5 have successfully completed their ‘passport to science’ unit, allowing each child to begin to use the equipment within the lab during independent investigations within lessons.
Throughout this unit, children were taught the rules of lab safety, how to make accurate measurements, how to use various pieces of lab equipment (e.g. Bunsen burner and microscope) and a variety of other essential skills.
