We’re thrilled to share that our after school Pre-Prep Construction Club is in full swing this term. Each week, the children dive into a story, which sparks their creativity and challenges them to build something inspired by what they’ve heard. They’re tasked with a specific challenge related to the story and must decide what materials to use and how best to join them. Some children choose to work independently, while others collaborate as part of a team. It’s wonderful to see so much sharing of ideas, with everyone offering suggestions on how to improve their designs. Of course, adjustments and problem-solving are part of the process as they work to bring their creations to life.
Construction Club is a busy but exciting time, where the children are fully engaged and often surprised by how quickly it’s time to tidy up. We look forward to seeing the incredible designs they’ll come up with next!
