This week, the children enjoyed a fun and creative pumpkin carving activity, inspired by our book of the week, ‘Pumpkin Soup’ by Helen Cooper. The children took turns scooping out the pumpkin seeds and worked together to gather them. Later in the week, they had the opportunity to make and taste their own pumpkin soup, using the story as a way to retell the adventures of the characters from the book. It was a wonderful hands-on experience that brought the story to life!
