This week in Kindy we have been talking about the importance of recycling. We have new compost bins in our classroom along with paper bins so that we can try and do our bit for the environment.
The children were very keen to empty our compost bins, so on our snowy Wednesday school day we all crunched our way through the snow to investigate our school compost heap. The children proudly took turns to pour the fruit peelings into the compost bin. We even had time for a play in the snow!
