Year 1 loved learning all about the human skeleton this week. Mr Behan very kindly lent us the skeleton from the science department. The children enjoyed learning the names of the various bones and why they are so crucial to the skeleton.
The children all danced a skeleton dance which also helped them to learn the names of the bones. They then completed a cut and stick activity where they constructed their own skeleton. One of our visitors this week commented that even the skeletons looked happy!
