Year 1 children have returned to school brimming with confidence and are all stepping up to increased challenges in their new school year. Forest School, fruit picking, outdoor learning and the wearing of gum shields have all been hugely popular.
The children show potential as mini artists whilst enjoying different techniques to paint unique artwork. Exploring line drawings of animals was the quietest lesson observed in a long while. And can you believe, there are “so many ways to make the number 10…this is the greatest fun” quoted one little voice.
RMS Titanic is also about to be resurrected and the children are eagerly awaiting their next session to find out more! Watch this space…
