On Monday, Year 2 enjoyed their first cricket match against Pennthorpe. Three games were played with five children from Barrow Hills in each team. Scoring starts in Year 3, however… Year 2 were great at running and scoring multiple runs from one hit. We have a lot of big hitters! Our fielding also showed promise, the children were very quick to throw the ball back to the bowler and overarm throwing is accurate. We will work on throwing the ball at the stumps ready for matches in Year 3.
