Year 3 have spent several weeks in class reading ‘The Iron Giant’ by Ted Hughes, extending their English skills in writing, reading and listening with various tasks, learning concepts and activities. This week, the year group formed groups, planned and built their own ‘iron giants’, demonstrating their knowledge of the character with recycled products. They were lucky enough to have our wonderful Head of English, Mrs Mason pop by to see their creations and talk to them about the book as well. Well done Year 3 for some super learning.
