The First Mathematics Challenge (FMC) has been specifically created to give all children, UK and worldwide aged between 7-9, the opportunity to take part in a fun Mathematical Challenge. There was a total of 20 multiple choice questions, starting with easy questions to encourage children in their own ability and these gradually got harder throughout the challenge. Well done to all the Year 4 children who took part, the following mathematicians achieved certificates:
