Another busy week with lots of great work completed and summer assessments now under our belts. Great to see so many watches being worn this week too!
In English we continue to produce our information booklets about an endangered animal – from pangolins to pandas, research has taken place and notes turned into full sentences. Paragraphs, subheadings, scientific vocabulary and plenty of fascinating facts have been included. We look forward to sharing these with you soon.
Volcanoes have been our focus in geography, with a look this week into their structure and the geographical sequence of events that occur during a volcanic eruption. Again, plenty of new vocabulary being used and lots of discussion about the recent volcanic eruptions in Iceland and Indonesia.
The week culminated with our PSHE lesson where the children displayed maturity and sensitivity, offering considered answers and questions when discussing the changes that occur during puberty.
We look forward to Henley Fort next week! Get those bags packed and be ready for plenty of fun!
