For those of you who have been at home for the duration of the term, thank you for all the wonderful support you have given your children with their remote learning. I am sure they are looking forward to being back in school as much as their teachers are and you have definitely earned a break!
The teachers will be focusing on providing a gentle and supportive environment for everyone’s return as it has been a long time out of school and now also away from you. We know that some children will be feeling anxious and this is totally understandable. Please do let your child’s form teacher know if you have any concerns. Once the children are settled, we will be completing assessments to guide us in planning our provision for the summer term and we are organising our parent consultations for the week beginning Monday 15th March so there will be a chance for a ‘catch up’ conversation; a letter is due to come out, shortly, for you to indicate convenient dates and times.
Due to many requests from our Early Years parents (particularly from the girls!), we have decided that school uniform will be worn with sports kit on P.E. days as they did last term for Reception, Kindy and Nursery. Years 1 and 2 will wear their sports kit every day. However, please do not purchase further uniform if you were planning for your child to wear their sports kit.
I am really looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday. Have a lovely weekend,
Rachel E Harris

As well as shopping online, you can donate directly or create your own fundraising page to raise money.
Please visit our easyfundraising page here and click ‘support us’.
Never miss a free donation with the Donation Reminder (this only works on MACs and PCs). If you think you might forget to shop each time via easyfundraising then the Donation Reminder will help you. It provides a little reminder every time you shop online.
Just a quick reminder that the Virtual Usborne Book Fayre will be open for purchases until Monday 8th March only.
The catalogue is available here and orders can be placed by email directly to firstname.lastname@example.org She will then either send you a link to pay online, or you can transfer the money to her directly. Your order will be delivered to school and distributed to your children during next week.
Catherine also has details of our Wish List from which we are asking that where possible you donate via an extra purchase from Usborne or via our Amazon Library Wish List instead. Remember that we accrue a credit of free books for the school with every purchase you make from Usborne.
Many thanks to the families who have already made generous purchases and donations! All donations will have a book plate put in them stating the name of the kind donor or donor family.
