BHCC TREASURER WANTED
We are sadly losing Rachel Barraud on the 4th of February, hence the BHCC will be looking for a volunteer treasurer to take up her role. This is not an onerous task and will only take up a limited amount of your time but is crucial to the running of the BHCC.
If you have experience in accounting / spreadsheets and are happy to help, please contact David Brydon or Rachel Barraud.
The BHCC relies on parent participation to ensure successful events. Every parent at Barrow Hills is automatically a member of the Committee and very welcome to come to meetings or pop an idea over. We hope that you continue to support us, beginning with the events planned for the rest of this term. If you feel you can help please contact your rep (see details below), David Brydon or if volunteers are needed you can sign up on Classlist when the event is published.
If you have any questions please contact David Brydon on email@example.com
Although this morning was a little damper than we have been used to, you still managed to raise £229.45 for the BHCC. Thank you!
What is next?
Don’t forget, Friday 11th February, Years 2 and 4 are doing a YUMMY cake sale at pick up time… just before half term, what a treat! Please note this is cash only, thank you.

Car Park Safety
Please ensure that your children are close to you when walking through the car park. If a small child is close to the back of a parked car, they are in a total blind spot.
Term dates can be found on the school website https://www.barrowhills.org/news-events/term-dates/
Muddy Stilettos Guide to half term saviours can be found here!
When waiting in the car park please turn off your car engine.
Absences on match afternoons
Please notify games staff of any absences on a match afternoon in advance when possible.
Absence Request Form
An Absence Request Form must be completed for any reason that a child is not in school, other than illness. These are found on the Parent Portal. Thank you.
Please can we remind you that the majority of the communications are sent via the parent portal on a Tuesday. Communications will vary for each child dependent on a variety of factors e.g. class, gender, sets. The Prep team sheet can be changed at any time therefore we encourage you to check the portal on a regular basis.
