This week Year 1 has been working extremely hard to learn numbers to 50.
They are now trying to become familiar with greater than and smaller than. The children love to learn outside and really benefited from working in small groups using chalk and manipulatives. They worked together and shared the jobs, writing in chalk and selecting the manipulatives to make the numbers.
The children completed charts and all made sure they counted with accuracy.
It was a really positive lesson with some lovely discussions.
