The children went out into the spring sunshine, to explore their local habitat. In learning partners, the children sat and listened to the wildlife in the Pre-Prep garden and were amazed to hear lots of different birdsong. Then they went around the garden looking for evidence of animals, insects, birds and plants in their habitat.
The children wrote down the things they found in the garden and compared notes when they went back into the classroom. We were all surprised at how much wildlife there is in our local habitat.
