This week we have been looking at measurement in Year 2.
Having practised on smaller rulers, finding and measuring items around the classroom and recording their measurements in tables, the children moved on to measuring in metres.
They grappled with large metre sticks and worked well with their learning partner to accurately measure various items of furniture in the classroom. The children were particularly thrilled when they worked out a way of measuring their own height!
