Year 1 and the Victorians

17th January 2020

Year 1 have had a very artistic start to the year! This term they are learning about the Victorians.

The children have used different techniques to create a Victorian seaside scene, including scrunching paper and paint for the sea and the sand. They have created amazing detailed drawings of donkeys and Victorian characters in bathing suits! They have painted smart beach huts and the all important bathing machines.

The children have also made their own individual Victorian silhouette pictures. Well done Year 1, the classroom looks amazing and we are only in week 2 of the term!
