Kandinsky

Year 2 have enjoyed learning about the artist Wassily Kandinsky.  The children looked at his work and discussed the fact that he was one of the first abstract artists. They then focused on his piece “Squares with Concentric Circles” and used tinting and shading techniques to create their own paintings.
