Congratulations to the following children who received Special Commendations for their exceptional work in IT in assembly this morning:
Kit (1G), James (2G), and Otis (2G).
Each of them independently completed the ‘Creating Art with Code’ section of the Year 2 course. They determined on their own how to modify the instructions in a line of code, as well as interpreting the number of pixels needed to draw a line in a shape and working out the angle needed to draw the next connecting line. To achieve this on their own is an outstanding accomplishment and demonstrates excellent problem-solving abilities and tremendous resilience.
