Girls and boys in Years 3-8 participated in the first King Edward’s Cross Country Competition . They thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon competing against 9 other schools and were delighted to receive a cookie and water bottle on completion of the race! Children in Year 3 and 4 ran 1200m, Year 5 ran 2km and Years 6-8 ran 3km.
It was very special to see old Barrow Hillians who are now at KESW running as the hares for the different races.

Year 6 Girls – Hermione (6G) 3rd (MEDAL), Esme (6R) 5th
Year 6 Boys – James (6G) 1st (MEDAL), Albie (6R) 7th, Noah (6G) 8th
Year 7 Boys – Josh (7G) 2nd (MEDAL), Reuben (7G) 3rd, Charlie (7G)4th, Dylan (7G) 5th, Mateo (7G) 6th
Year 8 Boys – George J 2nd (MEDAL), Fletcher P 3rd (MEDAL), Toby M 7th
