Bunny Run

A drizzly start to the morning did not dampen the enthusiasm of Years 3 – 8 and their intrepid parents who joined us for our annual Bunny Run. All the runners completed the hilly two mile course, starting at King Edward’s Witley and finishing on the lawn at Barrow Hills, in under 32 minutes – a new record!  Our winner, James H (6G) came in in an incredible 14 minutes 37 seconds. Once over the finish line, everyone enjoyed an egg hunt in forest school resulting in lots of happy chocolatey children! The was also a golden egg hidden in the woods and the lucky winner, Max (6R), received an additional prize.

It was then the turn of Pre-Prep to whizz round their 1.5km course. The sun came out and with the older children helping and lining the route cheering the tiny runners along, it was a wonderful sight. Well done to all the parents too, especially those carrying younger siblings and hats off to one Dad who ran in his suit (and trainers!).

A huge thank you to Mrs Burnett and the sports staff for organising such an eggs-cellent event!

Happy Easter!
