Year 6 Host Successful Lenten Appeal Cake Sale

In a heart warming display of compassion, enthusiasm and community spirit, the Year 6’s organised a fantastic (and tasty) cake sale to raise funds for their Lenten appeal. Held on Friday 25 April, the event was a resounding success, with an outpouring of support from pupils, teachers, and parents alike.

In the days leading up to the event, the Year 6 pupils channeled their creativity and energy into designing and making posters advertising the cake sale, and then most impressively, baking an impressive array of delicious treats. Treats ranged from classic cupcakes to indulgent brownies and intricately decorated cookies.

On the afternoon of the sale, there was a buzz of excitement as pupils eagerly lined up to purchase the mouth-watering goodies. The colourful display of goodies, coupled with the infectious enthusiasm of the Year 6’s drew a steady stream of customers throughout the afternoon.

Thank you to everyone who supported. Due to the generosity of the students and wider school community, the cake sale surpassed all expectations.

Well done to everyone involved!
