What a fantastic day of competition for all the children at Barrow Hills!
We celebrated an overall victory for Kean, and bravery was on full display – particularly from one boy who fell not once, but twice, in his hurdling race and still got up and carried on each time.
For the first time, we introduced a parents vs staff tug of war. I’m delighted to report that I was on the winning team – congratulations to the staff on an epic battle!
Watch this short video for some highlights from the day:
A huge well done to George from Year 8, winner of the Victor Ludorum, and Delilah from Year 7, winner of the Victrix Ludorum. George won 3 out of 9 events, while Delilah impressively won all 9!
Congratulations to Hermione, who won the trophy for the best athletic performance in Years 5 & 6. She took home 6 event wins and broke 2 school records.
Well done also to Cedric, winner of the best athletic performance trophy in Years 3 & 4. He won 3 events and broke 1 school record.
