Number Fun Day with Reception

In class, the children enjoyed number spotting, lots of number songs, domino games, making number hats, plenty of counting, and building the tallest towers they could using Numicon. A real highlight of the day was our visiting mathematicians, who captivated the children with a wonderful maths story about Blorp the alien, who couldn’t stop eating and eventually grew into a big, happy alien explorer.

A huge thank you to Thomas and Delilah for spending the afternoon engaging and supporting the children with their maths activities. They were such positive role models, demonstrating joy, enthusiasm, and confidence in maths. Thank you also to Mr P for taking the time to visit and support our learning.

We are so proud of the children’s enthusiasm and curiosity. A truly joyful celebration of maths!
