Year 2 Super Scientists!

As part of our Super Scientists topic, Year 2 have been learning about the predicting the weather, with a focus on wind direction. The children designed and made their own weather vanes and learned how they show the direction of the wind.

They made predictions about what would happen when the weather vanes were placed in different positions around the school and then tested their ideas by observing how the wind affected them. This hands-on learning helped develop their skills in predicting, observing and testing.

Year 2 showed great enthusiasm, curiosity and creativity throughout the topic.
