Outdoor Science in Year 1

We took advantage of some brief sunshine to carry on our learning outside. We continued our study of ‘Light and Dark’ by looking at shadows in the Pre-Prep garden.

The children each chose a small plastic animal and practised turning it around on the paper, seeing how the position of the shadow changed. They then carefully drew around the shape the shadow made.
