Autumn Adventures in Nursery

This week we have been talking all about woodland animals. Our book of the week has been “The Leaf Thief”, and the children have enjoyed listening to the story and joining in with the characters.

We went on one of our adventure walks to look for autumn leaves. The children collected lots of different leaves and used them to make their own sweet hedgehog characters for our classroom display.

In Forest School, Mrs Wilson has been chatting with the children about hibernation and how some animals have a long, cosy sleep in the winter.

We have had a lovely week exploring, noticing changes in nature, and creating together!
