Nursery are Going on a Bear Hunt!

The Nursery children have thoroughly enjoyed exploring the tuff tray, which was linked to our book of the week ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’. We used different materials to represent the mud, grass, water and snow. It was a wonderful sensory experience.

The children used the figures to wade through the squelchy mud, swishy grass, splashy water and the soft snow. They found the bear hidden in his cave. This activity supported communication and language, imaginative play and sharing with others.
