Nursery Children Exploring the Outdoors

This week, the children have shown great enthusiasm for exploring the natural environment during our outdoor walks. With buckets in hand and magnifying glasses at the ready, they have been investigating the seasonal changes around them.

As part of our focus on Understanding the World, the children have been collecting and closely examining autumn treasures such as leaves and conkers. They’ve enjoyed comparing their findings with their friends, showing wonderful communication and language skills as they describe what they see, feel, and smell.

We look forward to continuing our outdoor learning and seeing where the children’s interests take us next!
