The School regrets that until further notice the Sewing Room is closed. This is in accordance with the School’s current protocol for visitors to the site and to minimise the risk of bringing the COVID-19 virus to the School.
We apologise to our parents who normally choose to use the Uniform Shop rather than the online facility.
Our uniform list shows the items of uniform and sports kit that your child will need to ensure that they are correctly and smartly dressed at all times. Children should be in summer uniform until October half term and then in winter uniform until the end of the spring term.
The majority of the items are available from the The Schools’ Uniform Shop at our partner school; King Edward’s Witley, or via our online service (details below). The uniform list indicates what items of uniform are available online or can be purchased in the shop.
For those items that you purchase from elsewhere we do ask that you comply with our guidelines and school colours. Guidelines on non-school purchases are:

In February 2021, School Colours launched a new and improved web shop. You need to register for an account before you are able to see the uniform. If you have previously purchased items from School Colours you will need to set up a new account to log in. If you need any information from historical orders please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
For online ordering, a filter is available for each year group to ensure that only the uniform you need is displayed. Please see below for the sizing guide.
Delivery of your purchases can be to your home or a free delivery service is available to the School every Tuesday; cut off for this delivery is Sunday evening. Purchases may be collected from the front desk at Barrow Hills.
School Colours Direct can be contacted as follows: email@example.com. Please always quote the name of the School and if enquiring about an existing order the surname of who placed the order and the order number.
The marking of all uniform, kit and equipment, shoes, swimming towels and home clothes brought in to school is essential. It is the responsibility of the parents to ensure that every item is clearly marked.
We advise that sew-on name tapes are used. We recommend using Woven Labels UK.
All kit used for activities e.g. Judo and Forest School must also be clearly named.
Hanging loops must be sewn on painting and lunch aprons and tracksuit bottoms for children in Pre-Prep.
The Sewing Room at King Edward’s, can label your child’s uniform or make alterations at a competitive price.
King Edward’s has its own laundry and dry cleaning facility. However, until further notice, the Laundry will not be open for parents and the general public. The Laundry is unable to receive any dry cleaning or laundry at present. This is in accordance with the School’s current protocol for visitors to the site and to minimise the risk of bringing the COVID-19 virus to the School. If you wish to collect any items, please contact the laundry, and pre-arrange a time for collection. We apologise to our parents and other visitors who, in normal circumstances, are most welcome to use our laundry and dry-cleaning services.
For any enquiries or to contact the laundry, please call +44 (0)1428 686717 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We have a selection of good quality second hand clothing, prices at around a third of retail, in the The Schools’ Uniform Shop located at King Edward’s Witley.
Parents who wish to pass on or sell second-hand clothing must ensure that it is clean, in a nearly new condition and all name labels removed. All items needs to be labelled with a contact name and number if you would like 75% of the proceeds returned to you.
The full terms and conditions and a template if you need to label items for sale can be viewed here.
Due to lack of storage space, we can only guarantee that items will be available for sale for a period of 12 months. After that, if they are not deemed saleable, they may be given to a charity.
