Zog Day Celebration

The Pre-Prep children joined schools across the country in celebrating Zog Day with a special live event featuring the talented author and illustrator team, Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, alongside the real flying doctors from the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity.

The children thoroughly enjoyed hearing Julia Donaldson talk about her work and were delighted to listen as members of the air ambulance crew read Zog and the Flying Doctors. They were captivated by the stories shared by the crew and listened with great interest as they explained their important work and described the journeys they had taken to achieve their careers.

The event inspired the children to dream big and think about their own futures. They learned that dedication, perseverance and hard work at school can help them achieve their ambitions and follow their dreams. It was a memorable and inspiring day that brought the world of Zog and the Flying Doctors to life and gave the children a fascinating insight into the real-life heroes who help others every day.
