Welcome to the Barrow Hills Bulletin, your weekly newsletter with a snapshot of life at School.
Message From the Head
Dear Parents,
The children looked super smart for their school photos today! It has been a really active week across the school, particularly in sports, with fixtures spanning football, hockey, and cross-country.
Heading into the weekend, we are hosting a National Heritage open afternoon on Sunday 20th September from 2pm – 4pm, for those interested in the arts and craft history and architecture of Great Roke and the gardens designed by Gertrude Jekyll.
It was been a pleasure to present Barrow Hills’ outcomes on excellence, and inclusion in the curriculum, at a regional level this week at Surrey University and the Moon Hall Education Conference. Next week, we broaden our reputation on a national stage, as I have been invited to share our work at the national and international Independent Association of Prep Schools Heads Conference. Small school, big impact – something we, as a community, should all be proud of.
Many thanks for your support,
Mr Towers, Head

We’re thrilled to invite little ones into our Nursery and Forest School for a our weekly toddler class – Tree Tots @ Barrow Hills!
