Spring Art Exhibition

Our 3rd annual Spring Art Exhibition culminated today and what a  wonderful few days it has been!

We had a vibrant celebration of imagination and creativity, transforming the school into a dynamic gallery of student talent. The exhibition showcased an impressive range of work across painting, printmaking, textiles, and sculpture, with pieces that were both deeply personal and ambitiously collaborative.

Drawing inspiration from across the curriculum, the artworks explored themes from expressive portraiture and still life to rich rainforests and classical stories from Greek and Roman history. This interdisciplinary approach gave the exhibition a sense of depth, where art seamlessly connected with history and geography.

A standout element this year was the integration of the STEM theme of flora and fauna. Under the guidance of artist-in-residence Laura, students experimented with dyeing and screen printing, producing striking textile pieces inspired by cells and living organisms. These works added a fresh, tactile dimension to the exhibition.

Overall, the exhibition was a lively and inspiring event that celebrated curiosity, skill, and the joy of making – leaving a lasting impression on all who attended, roll on next year!
