Recycling with Forest School

This week we have been discussing the importance of recycling and why we all need to do it. Recycling helps to keep the earth clean by saving trees and nature, it saves energy because making new things uses more energy than recycling, and it protects animals and plants by giving rubbish a second life!

Nursery and Kindy thoroughly enjoyed helping collect the rubbish that had been ‘left’ around the fire circle and shared brilliant knowledge of what you should do with your own rubbish!

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 played a game where they had to decide if something would go in the compost bin or the recycling bin!

Please continue to send your children in with appropriate clothing, arms and legs need to be covered even during warm weather.

Thank you
