Autumnal Creativity With Nursery

What a busy and lovely week we’ve had in Nursery! We’ve been enjoying all things “Autumn”, with lots of exploring and learning together.

The children have been getting creative and painting leaves to make our very own autumnal bunting. We’ve been talking about the beautiful colours we see outside and exploring different ways to use paint to create our leafy decorations.

Our book of the week has been Handa’s Hen. Through the story, we have been talking about being kind and helping our friends.

It has been so lovely to see our children showing kindness and helping each other every day in nursery – whether it’s helping a friend, sharing, lending a hand or being kind to others, they are becoming such caring and thoughtful helpers.

Our number of the week has been 6 and we have been enjoying lots of counting of toys, clapping, jumping and using our fingers to help us count.
