Costa Brava Roundup
Now it’s over to Year 7 who will tell you about some of the highlights of our Costa Brava Trip!
As the plane landed in the airport the old smell of tar and smoke wafted around the air. We may have woken up at 3.00am but we were still feeling energetic and excited for our journey. As soon as we got out of the airport the air, hot as a dessert, slapped us in the face and we saw a policeman with a gun. We got on the coach and I sat next to Oscar and we played top trumps all the way there, with me losing every time! Mr Smith told us we were going to The Sagrada Familia and the looks on our faces brightened up – the Sagrada Familia is as beautiful and vibrant as everyone said. The towers soared up through the bright blue sky. As we went inside the colours reflected the sunlight. – James H.
The tour guide took us into the Sagrada Familia and I was amazed, the building went up forever and the stained glass window shone onto the floor. The building was designed by Gaudi and had taken 100 years to make! – Noah
For the first water sports session I was in a group with Oscar, Charles, Alfie, Charlie, Delilah, James R and Phillip. We learnt how to wind surf with Noe but there was no wind so Noe unclipped the sail and we did wakeboarding instead. Whizzing behind the back of the boat was great fun! – James P.
On Day 3 we went to one of the largest waterparks in Europe which was super fun, although my feet and shoulders got a little burnt. We went on lazy rivers, the wave pool and even a super high slide which was really great! – Charles
After we did that we waited for the bus and started heading off in the coach back to the airport, where we got ready for our flight home. We started playing on our newly given back screens and settled on the flight, listening to Spanish music and started to cherish, think, and remember one of the best times of our lives. – Dani
